Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence
Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers presented personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the news eureka Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
